Lovely topics to meditate on!
Enjoy reading ~ Enjoy the colours of the fall
By Sahiela (Yoga Instructor at YogaTuned)
Great reads ~ October 2016. A book that all people who seek to explore love and tantra might enjoy reading. I have read the Italian translation “Segreti e Misteri dell’Eros” of the chapters that cover tantra as main topic. A clear view on love, relationships, sexuality and many other aspects of our life. Another provocative approach compared to the belief system of our society. I am not sure what to think about the homosexuals and heterosexual view of the book. I don’t have an opinion right now on this.

Willy Pasini ~ Self-Esteem (L’Autostima) In August, during the Yoga education Yoga Makes a Difference, the teacher mentioned “In the West people have a low self-esteem". A few weeks later, during my break in Italy, I have found the book “Self-esteem” written by a well-known Italian psychologist, Willy Pasini. I couldn't wait to have a closer look into this delicate topic. I wanted to understand how self-esteem influences people’s lives. How confidence in ourselves and in our skills influence our happiness? How can lack of self-esteem damage our relationships? It is very interesting to become more aware of the influence on our self-esteem. Particularly interesting is the influence of parents over their children. In fact, the book dedicates a large session to the relationship between parents and children. This book is advisable if you wish to know better what self-esteem is and how it develops. It contains guidance on how to grow and improve self-esteem. Enjoy! Sahiela Great Reads August 2016
Joseph M. Marshall ~ Keep Going: The Art of Perseverance A few years ago I received this book from a German friend. Now, finally, it was my time to read it and dig into reflections on philosophy of life, perseverance and acceptance. This book provides with a wise perspective on life. Kathleen McDonald ~ How to Meditate ''What is meditation? Why practice it? Which techniques are best? How do I do it?'' In this book you can find some answers. A reading that can help beginners to start with meditation. It also encourages more advanced practitioners to explore different types of focus, such as analytical meditation and visualization meditations. Clear and accurate. This book has enriched my meditation practices. Keep on exploring and discovering new experiences. Stay tuned with yourself and you will be in tune with everyone! Osho - Inner Journey “Inner Journey is a precise manual for tuning the instrument- body, mind, heart, hara- to an inner balance and harmony that will pave the way for the experience of meditation.” My first read of Osho it’s been a revelation. I have chosen the name Yoga Tuned because I believe that when we are “tuned” we can live in peace and harmony. Just like when instruments are tuned they can play wonderfully. In his book, Inner Journey, Osho compares heart, mind and spirit to a musical instrument. I am happy to discover this connection and view. Inner Journey has revealed a great view on life. It brilliantly defines the keys to look into yourself with more clarity. Definitely recommended! Your body, mind and spirit are great instruments if you know how to tune them!
