Thank you to all the people who have attended the first Morning Glory Yoga classes this month in Haarlem.
It was very cold, and difficult to get up and get out of the house very early in the dark. I am proud of all the people who have participated and practiced together.
Thank you for the patience and dedication despite all my instructions in Dutch language with my strong Italian “flavour” ;)
It’s been beautiful to feel the concentration, presence and nice intentions.
Are you going to join the next classes on Tuesday at h 07:30 or on Thursday at h 08:30?

It’s been a motivating inner journey!
Thanks for the fantastic trip in India and the unique experience during my first yoga teacher training in Rishikesh. In India my project Yoga Tuned was born. In May my first yoga lessons in Amsterdam. In August an incredibly generous gift of Yoga Makes with their fantastic teacher training in Amsterdam. Finally, two wonderful gifts for the New Year: another special yoga education and new yoga lessons in Haarlem in my agenda!
Thanks to everyone for what you have taught me. I have learned so much from every single person and being!
I am looking forward to the new yoga experiences starting soon. I am ready to keep on evolving, learning, sharing energy, breathing deeply and tuning ourselves together.

From January 2017 I am teaching Morning Glory Yoga lessons at Sport City Haarlem, a very cosy and friendly sport centre in Haarlem.
Morning Glory Yoga is a yoga practice created by Sahiela Morlacchi in December 2016 for all people who love to start the day energized and enjoy the benefits of yoga the whole day long!
This is going to be a bright beginning of the day and of the New Year :)

I'm on my yoga mat. I am ready to discover new sensations. I am happy to find out another part of myself that is stiff, another part of my body is communicating with me. I feel lucky to be here. I feel lucky to have again something new to learn. Here is another chance to explore myself and to get in touch with myself.
By thinking this way it is possible to set a world of chances instead of limits. Walking the way appreciating every little step and every subtle sensation.
I remind myself these thoughts before starting any session, the highway to free flows within.
Yoga is not about being already flexible or being too stiff, yoga is about starting a journey and mindfully live it.
Focus on your journey, be present during your ride!

When is it the best time for a yoga practice? I have practiced yoga at every time of the day. Early in the morning has definitely become my favourite time to practice. Very early! When everything is still quiet and calm. A perfect time to observe all sensations in the body and in the mind. Sheer vitality flows throughout the energetic centres. At the end of the practice reconnecting to the world that is waking up is an additional gift of the morning.
Sunrise is the moment where I get the most from the yoga practice. Of course this can vary from person to person. So, a good advice would be to test different times and observe what feelings are the most desirable. If you haven’t tried yet, perhaps your next yoga session will be at sunrise and you can discover new feelings.
I love tuning myself up precisely at sunrise <3

Running at full moon is special. An additional nice memory of the Dam Run by night .
Even more magic were the energy and encouragements of the crowd. Children loved to support us and helped us to keep going. It's about individuals running together that become a whole.
Thanks this energy I did even better than I had expected: 0:45:37 ~ 8 KM/5 EM ;)
